In Pakistan, white-collar crime and corporate fraud an acute problems posing challenges to economic development, trust, and the institutional integrity of people. These non-violent crimes are committed by professionals or state officials and are associated with money through deceit- these crimes are embezzlement and insider trading, money laundering, and tax evasion. In Pakistan, fragile regulatory supervision, political interference as well and poor implementation of corporate laws are some of the factors that perpetuate such crimes. The paper examines the nature, causes, and effects of white-collar crime and corporate fraud in the country in relation to the legal frameworks, enforcement system, and institutional issues. It also assesses reforms, historical trends, and international comparisons in order to understand the loopholes in deterrence and prosecution. The study adds to the literature since it provides practical recommendations and suggests. Successful reforms that can assist in fighting white-collar crime and improving transparency and corporate accountability in the Pakistani financial and governance sectors.
