Abstract

The rapid development of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities of improving the quality of education at the university level. This paper addresses how AI-driven practices can reshape and transform higher education and emphasizes some of the most critical areas such as content personalization, intelligent feedback and assessment, adaptability of learning paths, learner-directed instructions, student learning, teacher professional growth, and equity and inclusion. Based on the quantitative research method, the data were gathered with the university students and faculty members to investigate the perception of the effectiveness of AI integration in academic environments. The results demonstrate that the amount of agreement among the respondents is so high that the range spans between 85% and 96, which is an excellent indication of the strong support of the role of AI in enhancing the quality of education. According to the participants, AI-based content personalization increased the level of relevance in learning, whereas intelligent systems of feedback enhanced the accuracy and timeliness of assessment. The adaptability of learning paths and data-based instructional assistance were discovered to support personalized learning processes and knowledgeable teaching. Additionally, AI tools contributed immensely to learner autonomy, learning, and teaching efficiency, thus resulting in better scholastic performance among students. Another finding was that AI contributes to professional development by assisting the faculty in planning their instruction and developing necessary skills. Notably, the respondents recognized the possibility of AI to promote equity and inclusion through the need to support various learning requirements. The research paper concludes that Artificial Intelligence has great potential to revolutionize university level education by improving the quality of instructions, learning, and effectiveness of the institutions. The results are highly supportive of strategic and ethical approaches of integrating AI technologies to guarantee sustainable enhancement of the quality of higher education.
