Abstract

This research explores the emerging role of artificial intelligence AI in transforming corporate adjudication, focusing on the shift from traditional human judges to algorithm-driven decision-making systems. The central problem addressed is whether AI can justly and effectively adjudicate complex corporate disputes, which often involve nuanced legal interpretation and multifaceted ethical considerations. The study aims to assess the feasibility, legality, and legitimacy of incorporating AI into judicial processes, particularly within corporate law. Adopting a doctrinal and comparative methodology, the research analyses case studies from jurisdictions such as China, Estonia, the United Kingdom, and developing countries like Pakistan, while examining legal doctrines related to due process, transparency, accountability, and fairness. The key findings suggest that while AI can significantly enhance procedural efficiency, reduce costs, and manage caseloads, it currently lacks the contextual reasoning and moral judgment required for fully autonomous adjudication. The study concludes that a hybrid model where AI assists but does not replace human judges offers a balanced path forward. Strong regulatory frameworks and ethical safeguards are essential to ensure that the integration of AI into corporate courts aligns with the rule of law and preserves judicial legitimacy. The intersection of AI and the judicial process is transforming the future of corporate adjudication. As technological advancements redefine dispute resolution mechanisms, this article explores the promise and perils of AI-driven courts in handling complex corporate litigation. Through a critical analysis of current legal frameworks, ethical considerations, and global developments, it evaluates the feasibility, legitimacy, and desirability of integrating AI into corporate adjudication.
