This study examines Pakistani international students' adaptation and integration experiences in Chinese higher education, focusing on intellectual, social, and cultural dimensions. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected from 58 students via surveys and interviews. SPSS analysis highlights key challenges, including language barriers and cultural differences, which negatively affect academic performance and social interactions, often leading to isolation and stress. However, students employing proactive coping strategies, such as peer support and cultural exchange participation, experience better adaptation. Institutional support, particularly language assistance and counseling, is crucial in easing transitions and fostering a sense of belonging. The study recommends expanding language training, enhancing cultural exchange programs, and offering targeted academic support to improve international student integration. These initiatives aim to enhance student experiences and strengthen institutional support systems in Chinese universities.
