This study examines the effectiveness of education policies in reducing socioeconomic inequalities in higher education, focusing on university instructors across Pakistan. A quantitative research design was adopted, utilizing a structured questionnaire with Likert scale items to collect data from 230 university instructors selected through simple random sampling. The study employed statistical analyses, including regression analysis, multiple regression, and ANOVA, to assess the relationship between education policies and socioeconomic disparities. The findings reveal that education policies significantly influence accessibility and equity in higher education, with early childhood education programs (β = 0.408, p < 0.001) and need-based financial aid (β = 0.112, p = 0.028) playing pivotal roles in improving educational access for disadvantaged students. Demographic analysis highlights a diverse respondent pool, predominantly male (75%), with varying levels of experience and institutional affiliations. The study concludes that targeted policy interventions, such as financial aid and equitable resource distribution, are crucial in minimizing socioeconomic disparities in education. Ethical considerations, including informed consent, confidentiality, and voluntary participation, were rigorously followed to ensure research integrity. The study contributes valuable insights into policy effectiveness, offering empirical evidence to inform future educational reforms.
