This research explores the integration of adaptation and climate mitigation strategies within urban planning as a measure to promote sustainable development and resilience. The research utilized a quantitative research method that was based on a sample population of 150 green technologies, sustainable infrastructure-investing and business managers. Regression analysis, correlation analysis, and post-hoc statistics were applied to the data, with significant results: high positive correlation (r = 0.62, p = 0.001) between urban sustainability and integration of climate strategies, and a negative effect of political resistance and financial constraints on the efficacy of climate action (B = -0.45, p = 0.000). The research points to critical hindrances to effective implementation, including poor coordination, and stresses the need to address such challenges to achieve greater urban resilience. The research offers valuable insights for policymakers and urban planners to make climate-resilient cities a reality.
