The Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Communicative Leadership Competence on University Performance

The study purposes to investigate the role of emotional intelligence and communicative leadership competence on university performance under the lens of transformational leadership theory. A quantitative technique was used to investigate the research hypotheses, and data were collected using convenient sampling techniques from academic and non-academic staff working in universities in Pakistan. Furthermore, multiple regression depicts the positive and significant role of emotional intelligence and communicative leadership competence on university performance. This study helps to make policies and conduct training on emotional intelligence and competence in leaders' communication. This study created a new horizon for the education sector by focusing on academic and non-academic staff's communicative competencies.
